Kebisingan di lingkungan kerja dapat menimbulkan berbagai gangguan
kepada tenaga kerja yang terpapar kebisingan, antara lain dapat menimbulkan
penurunan daya dengar yang pada akhirnya dapat menjadikan ketulian baik
sementara atau menetap .
Berdasarkan hal-hal diatas, Penulis melakukan kegiatan penelitian
tentang Gambaran Umum Sistem pengawasan dan pengendalian Kebisingan di
PT. UNITED CAN.CO LTD , Jakarta Barat yang merupakan salah satu
industri di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang Pencetakan Kaleng. Kebisingan
yang ditimbulkan oleh mesin-mesin pada proses produksi telah melebihi Nilai
Ambang Batas (NAB) yang diperkenankan yaitu 85 dB dan perilaku tenaga
kerja pada proses produksi kurang memahami manfaat pemakaian Alat
Pelindung Telinga.
